As part of the Francophonie Week, the Embassy presented "Jeunes Mères", the latest film of the Dardenne Brothers, Belgian directors who won twice the Palme d'or at the Cannes Film Festival. Like the other films by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, this one puts the spotlight on the situation of a group of vulnerable people, but also on the support work carried out by social services, whose role is rarely highlighted. A poignant film, which was followed, as is customary, by a tasting of Belgium beer !

Contemporary artworks deepen the reflection on its lasting impact.
Our sincere thanks to Jeta Xharra and BIRN Kosovo for welcoming us and guiding us through this unique trilingual space dedicated to memory and history through the lens of media. The Ambassadors joined the President of the Republic of Kosova, HE. Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, for a ceremony to pay tribute to the late President Ibrahim Rugova, on the anniversary of his death in 2006. A high-ranking intellectual and political leader, he was one of the great architects of Kosovo's independence, but unfortunately died too soon to witness the realization of his dream.
