Run by Dean & Linda Allen with their two children Patrick & Christina, Hill Valley Free Range is a small mixed farm in North West Tasmania.
We are a member of a small group of Australian's trying to re-introduce the English Longhorn cattle breed to Australia and we are in the process of trying to up-grade our small beef herd to English Longhorns using genetics sent from the UK. We are replanting wind breaks and shelter belts for our animals and for the local wildlife to enjoy. We are also doing trials of various crops ( Macadamia trees ). We would like to grow Industrial Hemp but at the moment the regulations don't make it make it easy to do so.
Ethically raised grass fed cattle and out door bred paddock reared pigs. Native mountain pepper ( Seasonal )
