A final note of thanks… 💚📚🌱
To our wonderful community, this page and the street library verge garden initiative have officially come to a close.
What started as a spark of inspiration from similar projects around the globe grew into something truly special—both physically on our verge and right here online.
Together, we’ve shared books, games, jigsaws, craft, plants, seeds, produce, gardening & growing, outdoor fun, and plenty of curiosity with our geocache and PokéStop along the way. We’ve even shown off our lovely corner of the world to legends like Costa Georgiadis Official
Over the years, this space evolved through a few different chapters, and I’ve loved the challenge and joy of running it. However, I’ve reached a point where it’s no longer sustainable for me physically, financially, or emotionally to keep managing it effectively.
I’ve always believed in giving things your absolute best shot so you’re left with no regrets, and I can proudly say I gave this initiative everything I had.
Thank you so much for coming on this journey with me, supporting the garden, borrowing the books, and being part of something green and good. While this chapter ends, I hope the spirit of sharing continues across our neighborhood!
“Plant seeds of kindness wherever you go, give life your best shot, and leave no room for regret.”
Thank you, all! ✨
I hope you love my AI assisted photo of Otto and I
