Marines with MALS-41 Det-A from MCAS Miramar, California, recently volunteered at the Salvation Army East County in San Diego for their monthly Commodities Food Distribution. Their efforts helped serve over 300 clients in the county! 🥫💪

On 17 June 2024, Captain Duron of Marine Aviation Logistic Squadron 41 (MALS-41) discussed hazard identification, risk management, and personal protective equipment with the students of Primrose School Fort Worth West.

On 4 April 2024, MALS-41 Marines were granted access to the Lockheed Martin F-35 production facility and provided a guided tour. The tour highlighted the history of Lockheed Martin and the significance of the facility, the progression of new F-35A/B/C aircraft production, Aircraft Final Finishes Facility, and the Acceptance Test Facility.

On March 28 MALS-41 Marines hosted the Lockheed Martin Sustainment Team for a tour of their facilities. This gave the Sustainment Team a behind the scenes perspective on maintenance operations. MALS-41 provides intermediate level maintenance for aircraft and aeronautical equipment.

Lance Corporal Diazbirriel is engaged in maintaining night vision goggles to facilitate nocturnal flight operations. Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) are utilized in aviation to improve visibility during flights in dim light and darkness, aiding operations in urban settings with low-altitude flights and densely built environments, as well as aiding in search and rescue missions.
