Today we honor those who have sacrificed and those who continue to sacrifice to protect our freedoms. Thank you for standing up for us and keeping us safe. We also want to thank the voters of Michigan for passing Proposal 2, which helps ensure the votes of military voters are counted, and their voices are heard. Michigan voters in the military will now have their ballot counted if postmarked by Election Day and received within six days. Today we honor and thank you for your service to protect our freedom and preserve our democracy.
