Can we predict earthquakes?
No, we can't [1] [2]. It is not currently possible to predict exactly when and where an earthquake will occur, nor how large it will be [3] [4].

Sometimes I get bored with “normal” map layouts, so here’s one to mess with your perception of Luzon Island, Philippines.
This view, for example, could very well be the POV of a typhoon that has just entered the PAR and is about to make landfall somewhere 🌪️
After all, nature doesn’t care about borders, and it doesn’t care about map orientation. Or does it?
