Amazing things are happening across our state! ⬇️

🏡 59 new affordable homes are coming to Norwalk next spring! Yesterday, I got a firsthand look at Sound Communities’ Meadow Gardens redevelopment with Mayor Smyth and the City’s Housing Authority team.

Later, I joined Kids In Crisis in Stamford for their annual meeting. From emergency shelter and counseling to helplines and other critical services, the organization supported more than 14,000 people across Connecticut in the last fiscal year alone.

Very grateful to both teams for the important work they’re doing in our communities!

Women entrepreneurs and small business owners are doing incredible things all across Connecticut. On Friday, I joined the WBDC community to share my gratitude and celebrate their accomplishments.

I also want to thank Anchor Health for recognizing me at Saturday’s gala. Congratulations on 10 years of providing affirming, compassionate care to the LGBTQ+ community. Grateful to be part of the celebration!

I’m excited to share that I’ve been named a finalist for the 2026 CIO Industry Innovation Award in the Public Defined Benefit >$50 Billion category, alongside our Chief Investment Officer, Ted Wright.

I’m also pleased to congratulate Philip Zecher, Chair of Connecticut’s Investment Advisory Council, on being named a finalist in the Endowments category.

It’s an honor to receive this recognition and to work alongside such dedicated investment professionals! Thank you to Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for the recognition, and congratulations to all of this year’s finalists!
