Illegal dumpers, take note.

Victoria's Illegal Waste Dumping Taskforce is turning to dumping hotspots in Hume, Banyule, Melton and Greater Geelong.

Hotspot campaigns focus on identifying offenders and preventing repeat dumping.

Illegal dumping costs councils hundreds of thousands every year to clean up. For some, costs run into the millions of dollars. That's money that could otherwise be invested in parks, playgrounds, local roads and community services.

Together, councils and the EPA-led Taskforce are creating long-term solutions to keep public land waste-free.
