Becky McIndoo, stores/warehouse assistant, was named the Rookie of the Month at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
“From the very beginning, Becky has approached this role with professionalism, dedication, and an eagerness to make meaningful contributions. In just a short time, she has quickly established herself as a dependable and highly effective member of the team. One of Becky’s most significant accomplishments has been streamlining the supply ordering process, which has reduced inefficiencies and improved overall accuracy. She took initiative in reorganizing and cleaning the stock room, transforming it into a safer, more functional, and professional space that supports daily operations. In addition, Becky successfully revamped the inventory tracking spreadsheets, ensuring more reliable data and improved oversight of supply levels. Her attention to detail extended further as she labeled and organized the supply closets on the units, making essential items easier to locate and restock, which has had a direct positive effect for nursing staff providing cares. These efforts have not only enhanced the smooth operation of the stockroom but have also provided lasting improvements that benefit staff the home," said Katie Jolliff, stores/warehouse supervisor.
