After many months of thoughtful planning, the time has come for a new chapter.

Starting tomorrow, the work of Coats for Kids – Cleveland will continue as part of Operation Warm, our trusted partner since 2011. Over the years, our collaboration has grown -- creating new opportunities to better serve children across northeast Ohio.

Together, we share a mission: to provide warmth to children in need. This transition ensures that the legacy of Coats for Kids will live on -- with greater resources, expanded reach, and access to even more essentials like shoes, socks, and sports bras.

You can expect the same strong commitment to our community, along with new opportunities to strengthen and expand local impact.

We have a big announcement!

After years of partnership, we’re excited to share that beginning July 1, 2025, Coats for Kids - Cleveland will officially become part of Warm—a national nonprofit we’ve trusted since 2011 to help us deliver brand-new winter coats to children in need.

This transition means more than just coats. It means expanded reach, greater resources, and new essentials like shoes, socks, and sports bras for the children we serve across northeast Ohio and beyond.

Stopped by the I.O.O.F. Prokop Velky Lodge 708 & Fresh Air Camp last evening at the request of Scott Sekerak to accept a donation of more than $9600 to Coats for Kids Cleveland. The donation is the result of their annual charity fundraiser that took place in late March. CFK is grateful for the continued support from this great organization & thanks everyone who supported the Sock Hop event in some way!

Congratulations to our partners at Operation Warm! Coats for Kids Cleveland has been purchasing new winter coats for our annual distribution campaign from them since 2011. Truly an amazing organization doing so much good.

We’re honored to share that we’ve won the 🏆 Gold Halo Award for Best Direct Service Initiative at the 2025 Engage for Good Conference!

This award celebrates our incredible partnership with Subaru of America, Inc., which has helped us provide brand-new coats and shoes to hundreds of thousands of children facing urgent need across the country.

We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished together—and look forward to all that is ahead. Thank you, Subaru, their retailers, and our dedicated team for making this Best Direct Service Initiative possible. 🧡
