Donald Trump says Iran has been threatening America for 47 years and that other Presidents were too weak to act.

But here is the real question: Trump was President for 4 years. If the threat was so serious, why did he do nothing then? Why now?

Leadership is not about loud talk, rewriting history, or pretending strength after the fact. Real leadership requires honesty, consistency, judgment, and accountability.

That is why I am a candidate for Vice President of the Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc.

I believe in working with others for a common purpose. It is only by alumni chapters, alumni, friends and supporters, students, and other stakeholders coming together that we will truly be able to move forward and upward for the betterment of our institution.

When we build stronger relationships and work in unity, our Wildcat Family becomes stronger, our voice becomes greater, and our ability to make a lasting difference grows.

Together, we can help lead Fort Valley State University to an even brighter future.
