Hope everyone across our city is doing okay after the wild weather over the last 24 hours.

We were fortunate to escape any major damage, although I did discover this morning that my trampoline had apparently relocated itself about 60 down the property.

My working theory is that my daughters had a wild party after I went to bed. The prime suspects are Jayde and Tari.

Codi has an airtight alibi as she's currently in the Northern Territory.

The investigation has commenced, although early evidence suggests the storm may have been involved.

In all seriousness, I hope everyone has come through safely and any damage is minor. Please take care, check in on your neighbours, and stay safe.

If you have a tree in your yard you need to read this.

A sad day for our city.

I support protecting healthy trees and our environment, but I cannot support policies that pile more red tape, costs and stress onto local residents without properly considering safety, common sense and the real issues facing our community including diseased and dangerous trees across WA.

Requiring expensive reports and approvals every time is not the answer.

Thankfully, this proposed policy from the City of Gosnells will now go out for public comment. I encourage everyone to read it and have their say before any final decision is made.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums out there ❤️

Not every mum is a biological mum. Sometimes it’s an aunty, grandma, family friend, or someone who stepped in and cared when it mattered most. Every child needs someone to guide them, support them, and show them love.

I just want to say how much I love and appreciate my mum. Thank you for always being there for me through everything. I’m so grateful for you and everything you’ve done.

And to all the women who have been like a mum to someone, thank you 💐

How cool is this - I have 🦉 breeding in my seed bin - had a look in side and they have two chicks. So looks like this bin is out of order this season.

Also check out the moon that came up on Wednesday night. The light behind me is from the yards.

Happy 20th Birthday Codi! 🎉

No longer a teenager… not sure how that happened so fast, but here we are. I couldn’t up be prouder of the young woman you’ve become, working hard up in the Northern Territory, chasing opportunities and even flying around in helicopters like it’s just another day at the office.

I know you’re a long way from home and probably a bit homesick at times, but you’ve got some good mates up there looking out for you and we’re always right behind you from here.

Keep doing your thing, stay safe, and don’t forget where home is.

Love you heaps, enjoy your day ❤️

Great turnout this morning at Anzac Park in the City of Gosnells.

Today we honour all who have served, the men and women in every conflict, those who never came home, and those who did but are still fighting their own battles.

I stand with our veterans, including Ben Roberts-Smith, they answered the call when our country needed them.

Lest we forget.

Last Saturday I got down to the Friends of Brixton Street Wetlands volunteer morning tea, was great to catch up with everyone.

Really good to see Regina and Trevor Drummond, living legends who do so much for the place. Also listened to a talk on orchids, which was surprisingly interesting.

Appreciate everything this group does, it makes a real difference in our community.

Apologies to my vegetarian friends… you might want to look away now 😅

Saturday night at my place, me standing over a hot plate like a caveman who’s just discovered fire 🔥😂

No recipe, no plan… just vibes, seasoning, and a strong belief I’m about to cook the best thing ever (results pending).

Some people relax with a movie, I aggressively flip meat and call it therapy.

Hope everyone’s having a ripper Saturday night whatever’s on your plate!
