Last week, the first ever landing of an F-35C on a Ford-class aircraft carrier was conducted by Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 23 aboard the Pre-Commissioning Unit John F. Kennedy (CVN-79).

The Kennedy is the first Ford-class carrier built from the ground up to fully integrate and launch the Navy's premier 5th-generation stealth fighter.
