Pretty cool to meet 3x MLB All Star and World Series champ Fernando Rodney with my son Adam, as well as watch former MLB player (Boston Red Sox and many other MLB teams) Dustin Richardson at the IBL All Star Game last night in Hamilton.

Tyler Duncan won the Home Run Derby. Connor Cory was great to chat with and is always engaging with the kids.

Garrett Takimatsu was a class act too (Reggie's off season baseball mentor/trainer)

Very cool that Reggie's former Waterdown Wolves baseball coach, Tim Bibby had many Wolves players in attendance sh****ng balls for the Home Run Derby.

The loaded hot dog was a bonus!

Reggie Mills #21 of the Burlington Bulls 13U AAA HP (High Performance) baseball team pitched a perfect game in tonight's 10-0 win over the Halton Hills Eagles on the road in Georgetown. The coach of the Eagles presented Reggie with the game ball after the game. Exciting for his Mom, Dad, and brother Adam to witness in person. The coach of the Eagles had Reggie's pitch clocked on radar tonight at 75mph. Way to go Reggie!

Advance polls are open this long weekend throughout Canada on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 9am-9pm for the Canadian Federal Election that officially happens on April 28th.

A LOT of people were voting at the Hamilton Mountain poll I voted at today.

This morning apparently line ups were a 90min wait. I got there at 5:45pm and waited in line 45min.

Word is voter turnout for these advance polls is high.

Worth taking the time to cast a ballot.

For our American friends on my social media..this is our local liquor store in the American Whiskey section today.

The American wine section is totally gone and re-stocked with local Canadian products. It is quite a sad example of what is happening between Canada and the USA

American friends, If you are willing, please speak to your elected officials to lobby to have the 25% tariffs on goods from your friends up here in Canada removed. Our Canadian politicians are enacting dollar for dollar reciprical tarrifs.

Had a valuable experience late last week at the Toronto Police College being able to speak with the students on the Toronto Police Social Media Course.

The students were very attentive, keen to learn, and it was clear to me that the police officers and civilian members of the Toronto Police Service are fully embracing community engagement and the concept of social media for success and safety.

It was a bonus to meet the two people who now do my former "Social Media Officer" job at TPS Corporate Communications .. Malik and Sam (not in pic), and be able to collaborate with them and share best practices behind the scenes.

Another bonus was to be able to connect with two of the absolute best at social media, Internet and law enforcement .. OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt and Toronto Police Service Constable Laurie McCann (in pic).

Thank you so much for including me in the curriculum.
