GHOST NO MORE: WEST PALM BEACH MAN CHARGED WITH TRAFFICKING IN M**H AFTER UNDERCOVER OPERATION

For 32-year-old Ledivine Devante Trevon Julceus of West Palm Beach, known on the streets as “Ghost,” a lengthy criminal history apparently hasn’t kept him out of the drug business.

Julceus has a more than 50- page criminal history (62-page to be exact) that includes charges ranging from aggravated assault, burglary and fleeing and eluding to exposure of s*xual organs and multiple drug-related arrests.

Detectives with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division put an end to his latest run following an undercover operation targeting narcotics sales. During the operation, Julceus sold detectives trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, along with co***ne and flakka.

The operation ended in Julceus’ take down and arrest.

Ghost was booked into the Martin County Jail, where his revolving door of criminality may have just slammed shut for good.

It is with profound sadness that the Martin County Sheriff’s Office announces the unexpected passing of Correctional Deputy Nicholas Peri.

Deputy Peri passed away unexpectedly at his home over the weekend. He began his distinguished career with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office in 2007, following two years with the Florida Department of Corrections.

Throughout his nearly two decades with MCSO, Deputy Peri served in a number of roles, most recently working in Jail Operations.

Deputy Peri was 53 years old and leaves behind a beautiful family, as well as colleagues and friends who are mourning this sudden and heartbreaking loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, and the many members of the MCSO family who had the privilege of working alongside him.

TOW YARD SHOOTING — SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after 1 p.m. this afternoon at a towing facility on SE Cove Road.

A woman from Miami arrived at the tow yard to claim a vehicle that had been towed there earlier in the day. Shortly after, individuals in another vehicle arrived at the facility, and the two parties became involved in an altercation. The Miami woman then retrieved a fi***rm and fired multiple shots at the other individuals before getting into a vehicle and fleeing the area.

Because the tow yard is located about a half-mile from Murray Middle School, the Sheriff’s Office immediately activated an active-shooter response and placed the school on lockout as deputies responded to the scene.

Road Patrol deputies, Aviation, detectives and other available units quickly began searching for the suspect vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle traveling on Cove Road near U.S. 1 and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled, and deputies subsequently performed a PIT maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a stop. Additional units moved in and successfully immobilized the vehicle before the driver could flee again.

The individuals who were targeted by the gunfire had left the area before deputies arrived. At this time, it is unclear whether any of them were struck by gunfire.

The female driver was taken into custody and transported to the Sheriff’s Office, where detectives are currently questioning her.

We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
