Deaf Ability Resource Pisgah Village addresses the health, social, recreational, and logistical needs of the elderly and persons with disabilities in Los Angeles County.

Pisgah Village Community Development Corporation was established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2006 as an addition to the existing non-profit of Old Pisgah which has been in existence since 1895. This current nonprofit has the mission of providing affordable housing opportunities and social services to improve the quality of life for its residents and participants. A program of Pisgah Village CDC is Deaf Ability Resource (DAR). DAR has the privilege of serving persons who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Latened Deaf and Deaf at Risk through a Fee for Service Program under the State of California Department of Rehabilitation. Deaf Ability Resource is conscious of the growing need of employment services for this demographic in our service area and is committed to growing and adapting the program to meet its emerging needs. Deaf Ability Resource Program will provide comprehensive access to Employment Services, Job Coaching and Situational Assessment opportunities to persons served.
