Don’t blend in - stand out to stay safe!

If you’re walking near roads and don’t have reflective or fluorescent gear, wearing something white, bright, or colourful can make a big difference in helping drivers spot you 👀

School uniforms are often dark, so adding reflective stripes, armbands, or badges to bags and coats is a smart way to boost visibility.

Fluorescent for daytime ☀️ Reflective for night time 🌙

Let’s help each other stay safe on the roads, every step counts.

The NWP Drone Unit are celebrating their achievements within the first five years of being introduced to the force.

The team has transformed North Wales’s policing air support and now play a critical role in searching for vulnerable people, containing scenes of police activity and securing evidence to make North Wales the safest place to live, work and visit in the UK.

Officers are renewing their appeal for information one month following the tragic discovery of Baby Ceri’s body on the Bangor shoreline.

An investigation was launched on 27 September to find out the circumstances of her death and to locate her mother, who has not yet been identified.

All possible lines of enquiry are being followed, and we are continuing to work with experts on several specialist tests, which we hope may provide us with new avenues to explore.

In the last month, officers have reviewed hundreds of hours of CCTV footage, responded to submissions from the public and distributed over 2000 leaflets to those living and working locally.

Superintendent Llinos Davies said: “We remain determined to get answers for Baby Ceri.

“Officers are tirelessly investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and are continuing to appeal to her mother, father or family to come forward.

“This has been a heartbreaking case for the community of Bangor and beyond.

“The support and compassion we’ve received has been unwavering as we continue to appeal for any information that could be relevant to finding out what happened to Baby Ceri.

“Our dedicated phone line for Baby Ceri’s mother remains available at all times to speak to a trained specialist who will listen and support her.”
