Valued MWR Patrons,

We regret to inform you that the NDW celebrates America's 250th Kings Dominion event has been officially cancelled.

We know how much our community was looking forward to this celebration, which was originally scheduled for April 19, 2026, subsequently rescheduled for September 12, and ultimately considered for November 8. Unfortunately, due to low ticket sales and lower expected attendance on the later dates, moving forward would result in a significant financial loss to our Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program. As stewards of MWR resources, we must make fiscally responsible decisions to ensure we can continue supporting our service members and families with robust future programming.

We deeply apologize for this disappointment and any inconvenience it causes.

Information for Ticket Holders
Keep Your Tickets:
-Your purchased tickets are fully valid and will be honored any day Kings Dominion is open during their regular operating season. No further action is required if you choose to use them this way.

Request a Full Refund:
-Please bring your physical tickets to your local ITT office. Our team will collect them and submit your information directly to the accounting office to process your refund.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support of our NDW MWR programs. If you have any immediate questions, please visit or contact your Community Recreation Office.

As we enter the weekend when we will celebrate the 250th Birthday of the United States of America, we'd love to share a poem written by our lead Procurement Officer, Mr. Gary Banaszak, and the patriotic display at our Regional Support Service office at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

From all of us at Naval District Washington Fleet & Family Readiness Programs, we hope you have a safe and fun weekend, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our many aquatics centers and/or special events!
