Texas House of Representatives To Consider Constitutional Carry:
HB 1927 is an excellent bill which would enact "constitutional carry" in Texas. This would allow anyone who is not legally prohibited from carrying a handgun to do so without first needing to obtain a license from the state. Requiring a license to carry is an infringement on the constitutional rights of Texans. Abolishing this impediment to the free exercise of rights protected by the Second Amendment would be a great victory for liberty in Texas. We support HB 1927.
