Welsh Guards Cromwell Tank in 1944. The 28 ton tank served wit the British army from 1944-1955. Over 4,000 were built. Most mounted a 75mm gun, with some Centaur variants mounting a howitzer. Cromwells teamed with Comets and Fireflys when engaging German armor due to the latter's more potent guns. After WW2, it served with the Greek, Portuguese and Israeli militaries. Over 25 are in museums and collections at this time.

1944, Spring, Slovenia. An interesting view of two Italian made Semovente L 40 da 47-32. The open topped vehicle weighed under seven tons and mounted a 47mm gun. Some 300 were built starting in 1941, with the Germans absorbing them into their army in 1943 as the StuG L6 47/32 630(i).

Knocked out Tiger I from the battle for the Seelow Heights on the outskirts of Berlin in April of 1945, when Soviet forces under Marshal Zhukov attacked entrenched German forces.

Canadian Leopard C2., an upgraded variant of the 105mm Leopard I with additional armor and new turrets incorporated into a planned 115 tanks in 1996. Only 66 were completed due to cost and complexity and then retired in 2001.
