Merci à ceux qui ont voté pour moi et qui ont continué à me soutenir. Je suis béni par les habitants de cette communauté. Je vous représenterai !
Dire que les résultats de cette élection ont été surprenants serait un euphémisme.

Félicitations aux nouveaux membres du conseil. Puissions-nous nous appuyer sur ce qui a été accompli pour améliorer notre communauté.

Merci à ma femme et meilleure amie, Mable Hastings, pour son soutien indéfectible. Merci à mes amis Jeremy Eldridge, Patricia Lachance, Steve Romaine, Myrna Cote et Françoise Orvoine pour leur aide et leurs encouragements.

Un grand merci aux membres sortants du Conseil, André Ducharme, Francis Marcoux, Émilie Herbert Larue et le Maire Bruno Côté. Je vous suis très reconnaissant pour votre implication, votre travail acharné et votre amitié.

Je suis toujours moi-même, un peu abîmé et un peu meurtri, mais toujours souriant et impatient de servir.

Thank you to those who voted for me and continued to give me your support. I am blessed by the people of this community. I will represent you!

To say the results of this election were shocking would be an understatement. Congratulations to the new council members.

May we build upon what has been established for the betterment of our community.

Thank you to My wife and best friend Mable Hastings for your undying support. To my friends Jeremy Eldridge, Patricia Lachance, Steve Romaine, Myrna Cote and Francoise Orvoine for all your help and encouragement in my campaign.

A big thank you to out going members of Council, Andre Ducharme, Francis Marcoux, Emilie Herbert Larue and Mayor Bruno Cote. I owe you a debt of thanks for your implication, hard work and friendship.

I am still me, a little battered and a little bruised, but still smiling and eager to serve.

✅ JOUR DU SCRUTIN 2 novembre 2025: 10h à 20h à l'église Saint-Cajetan, 324 route de Mansonville. Une pièce d'identité valide est requise.

À partir de 20h, le dépouillement aura lieu. Les résultats seront connus, on l'espère, autour de minuit. Une communication sera faite sur la page potton.ca/elections dès que possible.

Un peu plus de 32% d'électeurs se sont présentés aux deux jours de vote par anticipation.

ELECTION DAY November 2, 2025: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Saint-Cajetan Church, 324 Route de Mansonville. Valid ID is required.

Ballots will be counted starting at 8 p.m. We hope to have the results around midnight. An announcement will be posted on potton.ca/elections as soon as possible.

Just over 32% of voters turned out for the two days of advance voting.

J'ai rassemblé quelques photos qui illustrent certaines des infrastructures et des projets dans lesquels la municipalité a investi au cours des quatre dernières années, ainsi que de nombreux moments de fierté partagés avec mes concitoyens et les bénévoles.

Ces collaborations visent à renforcer le soutien aux personnes âgées, aux familles et aux personnes vulnérables,afin que tous les habitants de Potton aient accès aux services dont ils ont besoin.

Investissement dans les infrastructures et la qualité de vie

Nos investissements continus dans les infrastructures communautaires attirent déjà de nouveaux résidents et visiteurs. Parmi ceux-ci, on peut citer :

🏠 Le marché couvert des agriculteurs (abri multifonctionnel)

🎭 La Place de la Grange-Ronde (parc culturel)

🌊 Le quai

🚶 Les sentiers pédestres

🏡 Le centre communautaire Saint-Cajetan

Plus que de simples installations, ces espaces sont des centres communautaires qui améliorent la vie quotidienne et offrent de nombreuses possibilités d'engagement, de culture et de commerce.

Notre plus grande force réside avant tout dans nos concitoyens. J'ai pu constater de mes propres yeux les réalisations incroyables des habitants de Potton. Votre dévouement, votre énergie et votre collaboration font de cette communauté un endroit vraiment exceptionnel.

Investing in Infrastructure & Quality of Life

Our ongoing investments in community infrastructure are already attracting new residents and visitors. These include:

Potton d'abord et avant tout

Notre vision pour Potton a toujours été axée sur des objectifs à long terme qui, bien qu'ils exigent du temps et des efforts, profiteront en fin de compte à tous les citoyens. Ces initiatives stratégiques positionnent déjà Potton comme un chef de file dans la région, offrant de meilleurs services et favorisant des partenariats qui contribuent à réduire les coûts pour notre municipalité.



✅ Sécurité publique et partenariats régionaux

Des projets tels que la patrouille du lac Memphrémagog et la modernisation du service d'incendie ont été lancés afin de répondre aux normes gouvernementales, d'améliorer les services locaux et de permettre à Potton de collaborer efficacement avec les municipalités voisines. Ces partenariats renforcent la sécurité et réduisent les dépenses grâce au partage des ressources.

La municipalité a reçu une subvention de 5,3 millions de dollars du gouvernement du Québec pour ce projet.
Il reste un solde qui sera payé au cours des 25 prochaines années.

✅ Développement immobilier

La municipalité a réalisé un investissement important en achetant un grand terrain pour un futur projet immobilier visant à attirer de jeunes familles dans notre région. Il est maintenant temps de passer à la phase suivante. C'est un projet que je m'engage à mener à bien, car il s'agit d'une étape cruciale pour améliorer l'offre de logements.

Our vision for Potton has always been focused on long-term goals that, while requiring time and effort, will ultimately benefit all citizens. These strategic initiatives are already positioning Potton as a leader in the region, providing better services and fostering partnerships that help reduce costs for our municipality.



✅ Public Safety & Regional Partnerships

Projects such as the Lake Memphremagog Patrol and the Fire Department upgrades were launched to meet Government standards, to improve local services, and to enable Potton to collaborate effectively with neighboring municipalities. These partnerships enhance safety and reduce expenses through shared resources.
The Municipality received a grant from the Government of Quebec for 5.3 million dollars for this project.
Leaving a balance that will be paid over the next 25 years.


✅ Housing Development

The municipality made a major investment by purchasing a large parcel of land for a future housing project to attract young families to our area. It is now time to move forward with the next phase. This is a project I am committed to seeing through—a crucial step in improving housing availability.

Au cours des huit dernières années, je me suis profondément impliqué dans la communauté de Potton à laquelle j’ai consacré mon temps et mes efforts en tant que membre du conseil municipal. Je suis fier de la croissance, des réalisations et des changements positifs que nous avons connus ensemble. Je me considère comme un « homme d'action », pragmatique, fiable et déterminé à faire bouger les choses en étant activement présent et engagé dans tous les aspects de la vie communautaire.

Le travail du conseil municipal ne se limite pas à la prise de décisions; il consiste à s'impliquer activement dans la communauté, à œuvrer aux côtés des bénévoles et à s'immerger dans les activités et les projets locaux. C'est pourquoi je me présente à nouveau aux prochaines élections municipales. Mon engagement envers Potton, ses habitants et son patrimoine reste fort, et je continue à croire que je peux remplir efficacement cette fonction.

J’apprécie le soutien que j'ai reçu au fil des ans. Cette expérience a été incroyablement enrichissante, et je suis reconnaissant d'avoir eu l'occasion de servir.

Over the past 8 years, I have been deeply involved in the Potton community, dedicating my time and effort as a Municipal Council member. I am proud of the growth, achievements, and positive changes we’ve experienced together. I see myself as a “doer” — someone who is hands-on, reliable, and committed to making things happen by being actively present and engaged in all aspects of community life.

The work of the council requires more than just decision-making; it involves being actively implicated with the community, working alongside volunteers, and immersing myself in local activities and projects. This is why I am running again in the upcoming Municipal election. My commitment to Potton, its people, and its heritage remains strong, and I continue to believe I can serve effectively in this role.

I appreciate the support I’ve received over the years. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve.
