SHARE THE ROAD. SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY.

Every day, pedestrians, bicyclists, scooter riders, and drivers share our campus roads. But not everyone has the same protection in a collision.

This October, the University Police Department is kicking off our 12-Month Vulnerable Road User Safety Campaign!

Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing safety tips, reminders, and information about upcoming events and opportunities to pick up safety gear - all focused on helping prevent crashes and keeping our campus communities safe.

Whether you’re walking, riding, or driving, we all have a role to play in making our roads safer.

Follow along each month as we work together to build safer habits, increase awareness, and protect everyone sharing the road.

Rebel Homecoming Parade 2026 was a good one. ⚡️

We went full 80s, had way too much fun with it, and while we didn’t crack the top three this year, we’re choosing to believe Journey was trying to tell us something. 😆

So no, we will not stop believin’. We’ll just come back louder next year.

Until next time, Homecoming. 🤩

UPD joined National Night Out at both Downtown Summerlin and Town Square, spending the evening connecting with community members and fellow public safety partners. 🚓💙

National Night Out is all about bringing law enforcement and the community together, building relationships, and creating opportunities to talk about safety in a fun, welcoming environment.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Today is the ✨ LAST DAY ✨to support UPD through our Krispy Kreme Digital Dozens fundraiser! 🍩

For $17, you’ll receive a digital coupon for an Original Glazed® dozen at participating Krispy Kreme shops, and 50% of your purchase comes back to UPD.

Need an excuse to bring doughnuts to work? We’ve got you. Sharing with the family? Even better. Keeping the whole dozen for yourself? We’re not here to judge. 😂

Our officers are already enjoying theirs, and judging by the smile, we’d say the fundraiser definitely has its perks!

There’s still time to get your dozen and support UPD - but only through today!

Oozeball 2026 is in the books! 🏐

We didn’t come away with the win, but we had a great time representing UPD and appreciate everyone who came out, played hard, and supported Badge Behavior.

K9 Astra even stopped by to say hello and take a photo with a few fellow Oozeball participants. 🐾

Until next year, Oozeball. We had a great time and we’ll be ready to do it all over again.
