I want to thank all the officers from the Game Commission and the Fish and Boat Commission for taking the time to meet with me today. Through a wonderful conversation they provided valuable insight into both their agencies. Thank you for all that your agencies do to keep Pennsylvania safe and looking beautiful. I look forward to continuing this important work together.

Thanks to the folks from Branch Creek Place for coming to Harrisburg! They received special recognition in the House and it was great to spent some time with them as they explored our beautiful Capitol.

Today in York Springs, outside E & B Transportation Co., I had the honor of joining the family, friends and loved ones of Vickie Wolf to present a House Citation in her memory. This citation, now permanently archived in our state capitol, stands as a lasting tribute to Vickie’s life and the profound impact she had on everyone around her.

Standing alongside York Springs Mayor Nina Tipler, members of Vickie’s family and community members who continue to carry her memory forward was incredibly moving. Together, we are honoring her legacy while turning our grief into meaningful action.

Working with Mayor Tipler, Vickie’s loved ones and PennDOT, we remain committed to pushing for critical safety improvements at the intersection where this tragedy occurred. Our goal is clear: to help ensure that no other family endures such heartbreak.

A special thank you to Channel 27 News in Harrisburg for joining us today, not only to remember Vickie, but to help amplify the urgent need for safety upgrades in York Springs.

Vickie’s memory continues to guide and inspire this work. Her legacy lives on through this Citation and through the changes we are determined to achieve in her name.

This is why I fight for Lyme disease. Today I had my yearly reclast infusion to help stop bone density loss. Lyme, specifically the co infection Babesia has caused me to develop severe osteoporosis resulting with eight fractured bones in the last six years. The reclast infusions have made a huge difference in stopping that density loss. HB 2710 my first Bill introduced is so important in this fight to have accurate reporting so patients can get the proper treatment.
I will always stand for Lyme patients- we are in this one together!

Great news for farmland preservation here in Pennsylvania!

The 94-acre crop farm owned by Donald, Diane, and Curtis D. MacBeth in Menallen Township has officially been protected, ensuring it will stay productive agricultural land for years to come.

Through Pennsylvania’s Farmland Preservation Program, farm owners can safeguard their land from development by selling their development rights. This partnership between the state, local communities, and landowners helps keep agriculture thriving and maintains open space for future generations.

Another important piece of Pennsylvania’s farming heritage preserved!

I was delighted to join the Cumberland County Association of Township Officials for their Annual Convention. It was a great opportunity to connect with municipal representatives from across the county and share updates on key issues.

During the meeting, I provided an overview of the annual budget and discussed broader considerations related to data centers and their potential impact on local communities.

Thank you to everyone for hosting an informative and productive event.

Earlier this week I met with Kristen Tullo of Humane World for Animals to discuss SB381, to prohibit state funding for certain painful animal experiments, restricts sale/testing of animals, and bans animal-tested cosmetics. I look forward to supporting the bill in the House.
