تعزيز إنتاجية الأراضي الزراعية بوادي جد في غيل باوزير بحضرموت، من خلال مشروع القناة التحويلية لتوزيع سيول الأمطار المنفذة من قبل مشروع الأشغال، بهدف ري أكبر مساحة زراعية، تدخلات تخفف من التأثيرات السلبية لتغير المناخ، وتحسن حياة المزارعين.



Enhancing agricultural productivity in Wadi Jad, Ghail Bawazir, Hadramout , through the Diversion Channel Project implemented by the Public Works Project, which captures and redirects seasonal floodwaters to irrigate the maximum possible area of farmland—helping mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change and strengthen farmers’ livelihoods.

عشرات الأسر في حي حورة بمدينة حجة كانت مهددة بفقدان منازلها والتشرد والنزوح، بسبب السيول التي جرفت الجدار الترابي الساند للبيوت، فكان تدخل مشروع الأشغال بتنفيذ الجدار الحجري لحماية مجتمع بأكمله إنقاذ للحياة .




In a separate intervention in Hawrah neighborhood of Hajjah City, dozens of families faced the imminent risk of displacement after flooding destroyed an earthen retaining wall supporting their homes. The Public Works Project’s intervened to construct a durable stone wall, which has stabilized the area, provided safeguards for the homes, protected lives, and preserved the integrity of the community

الاستفادة من سيول الأمطار زراعيا، والتكيف مع التغيرات المناخية بمشاريع نوعية ينفذها مشروع الأشغال العامة، وقنوات تصريف السيول وجدران حماية الأراضي الزراعية في وادي الثوباني بتعز التي ظلت لسنوات تعاني الجفاف واليوم عادة إليها الحياة ووصلت إليها المياه، شاهد من الميدان يحكي عظمة تلك التدخلات.




Rainwater runoff is being effectively harnessed for agricultural use through a series of high-quality climate adaptation interventions delivered by the Public Works Project. In Wadi Al-Thobani in Taiz—an area long affected by drought. Flood-drainage channels and protective embankments have restored water flow and revitalized agricultural land. Field accounts confirm a tangible transformation, with water once again reaching farms and supporting local livelihoods..
