HDPE ( High Density Polyethylene) is the most widely used geosynthetic liner today. It enjoys particularly high acceptance in the waste and mining industries. A cost effective and environmentally beneficial solution for protecting pipelines from internal corrosion and abrasion using high density polyethylene pipe. Applications include potable water, pressurised sanitary sewers, oil and gas pipelines, slurry and tailings pipelines. Basic and general knowledge of liner installation types will ensure successful project. This system utilizes thermoplastic lining inside a steel pipe, effectively combining the strength of steel with the corrosion, chemical and abrasion resistance of thermoplastic. Available with MONOLITHIC FLARED ENDS or PRE FORMED STUB ENDS.

The Afrisam Quarry in Olifantsfontein, is a leading supplier of Redimix Cement to the South African construction Industry, and as the Quarry grows, they encounter more effects of the Undergound Water Table. Prime Line Projects was brought in to supply and install a 350mm HDPE drainage line, transporting 250litres of water a second.
Over a 2 day maintenance shut down, PLP was able to lay and weld over half a kilometre of piping, including an 80meter unground portion before the 20ton Weigh Bridge.
