Mr Luvuyo Mosana is the Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Cape Socio Economic Consultative Council, a public entity committed to building a prosperous and productive Eastern Cape where all people realise their potential.

With a distinguished career in socio-economic development, Mr Mosana leads efforts to facilitate policy dialogue, design and implement growth strategies, create jobs and combat socio-economic disparities. He also packages strategic development and infrastructure projects to leverage resources from government, SOEs, and the private sector.

A holder of a Master's degree in Politics and Political Economy from Nelson Mandela University, he has further sharpened his leadership through training in Strategic Planning and Management at the University of the Witwatersrand, Public Budgeting and Fiscal Management in Sweden, and Organisational Development at the New School for Social Research in New York.

Ms Shiphra Chisha is a distinguished development leader and advocate for women's economic empowerment, currently serving as Director of Programmes at the Graça Machel Trust, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on inclusive development and women's leadership across Africa.

As President and Co-Founder of African Women in Business (AWIB), a Pan-African organisation supporting women entrepreneurs across the SADC region, Ms Chisha has been instrumental in expanding access to trade, investment and market opportunities, while championing women's participation in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

A seasoned expert in regional trade, policy advocacy and economic transformation, she serves on several regional and continental advisory boards spanning trade, business leadership, energy, and technology.

She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Johannesburg, and has completed executive leadership programmes at GIBS and the BRICS China Executive Leadership Development Programme.

Bantu Magqashela is a distinguished regional banking leader with over two decades of experience, marked by resilience, strategic vision, and a commitment to excellence.

Rising through the ranks since 2002, Mr Magqashela has held strategic operational leadership roles for over a decade, with deep expertise in Business Banking and the small and medium enterprise segment. He is widely recognised for his ability to build high-performance teams and deliver results where it matters most.

He currently serves as the Interim Board Chairperson of the Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency (JoGEDA), the host of this conference, a role that speaks to the trust and confidence placed in his leadership to drive economic development across the Joe Gqabi District.
