A special thank you to Bhuti Dassie for blessing our Centre with fresh butternut.

Your generosity helps us continue providing warm, nutritious meals to our ypung and elderly beneficiaries. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

We truly appreciate your support and willingness to stand with us as we care for our community.

May your kindness be returned to you many times over.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Koko Paliso for his kindness and generosity in bringing water to our Centre during the recent water shortage in our community.

When there was no water throughout the area, his thoughtfulness ensured that our elderly beneficiaries and staff could continue with their daily activities. This act may seem simple, but to us it meant a lot. Enkosi Bhuti.

Thank you for reminding us that community is about showing up for one another. May your kindness return to you in abundance.

DAY 1
16 Days of Activism – Bonnievale
Theme: β€œLetsema – Men, Women, Boys & Girls Working Together to End GBV and Femicide.”

Today Bonnievale showed UP!
Thandanani Service Centre kicked off the 16 Days of Activism with power, honesty and unity. Men, women, boys and girls came together with one voice: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

We spoke.
We listened.
We stood together.
And most importantly β€” we reminded each other that ending GBV starts with men taking lead.

On this Heritage Day, we celebrate the richness of our culture, traditions, and the unity that makes us who we are as a community.

Heritage is not only about remembering where we come from, but also about building a future that honors our elders, uplifts our youth, and strengthens the bonds that hold us together.

At Thandanani Service Centre, we are proud to stand as a home of care, love, and service, embracing the diversity that makes us one.

May this day remind us that our heritage is a living gift, passed from generation to generation, and a foundation on which we continue to grow.

Happy Heritage Day!
Together, we cherish yesterday, celebrate today, and build tomorrow.

We'd like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Thanda Spofana, for the message she sent to us appreciating us as the organisation for the quality of food we cook for our participants, who one of them happens to be her brother.

It truly means a lot to us to know that our efforts were appreciated, it is motivating to know that there are people who see and recognise the importance of this organisation in the community.

As a result she sent us a donation to go along with the message she sent, We are deeply grateful for the generous donation she sent as a token of her gratitude.

Sis Thandazwa your kindness and support will have a lasting impact on our work in the community you have no idea, and we are honored to have supporters like you who believe in what we do.

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and for recognizing the value of our work. May God bless you even more.

So Today Amaxhegwazana ase Thandanani Service Centre were honored guests, Oomama from Zolani society, phantsi kwebandla lase Wisile, in the cold weather they came in numbers and prepared breakfast for the elders.

They didn't just make breakfast for them, they served even their souls from the Book of Luke 6:38 A very powerful verse that says:

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Which reminded us that the way we treat others will come back to us in some way. Just like Tata Mandela who followed in the steps of Christ lived a life of Service, a life of giving, a life of sacrifice, so they visited Thandanani Service Centre to imitate Christ, to imitate Tata Mandela by being the sevents to our elderly.
