Deputy Speaker Hon. NL Ndungane visited a Presbyterian church in Mangaung with Deputy Mayor Cllr. Lulama Titi-Odili to strengthen ties between government and religious institutions. The visit focused on promoting moral regeneration, unity, and community values inspired by Easter.

In her address, Ndungane emphasized servant leadership, encouraging humility, compassion, and dedication to the people. She also highlighted the importance of partnerships between the Legislature and churches in addressing social challenges, and urged citizens to participate in upcoming elections, stressing that every vote matters.

Today we joined the congregation of the Methodist Church in Koffiefontein, together with the Ward Councillor, who is also The Speaker, Cde Xolani Mthukwane, REC and Youth League members, to worship, reflect, and give thanks.

Free State Legislature Launches Province Wide Food & Clothing Drive in Botshabelo
Botshabelo, Free State.
The Free State Legislature, in collaboration with the Mangaung Metro Municipality Office of the Deputy Mayor, has officially launched its province-wide Food and Clothing Drive at Samson Sefuthi Hall in N-Section, Botshabelo. The initiative is aimed at providing essential support to vulnerable families and communities across the province.
Generous contributions from sponsors including Meals on Wheels, Sasko, and Shoprite are helping to ensure that vital food and clothing supplies reach those most in need. In addition to material support, attendees also benefited from on-site services provided by key government departments such as the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), Department of Health, and Department of Home Affairs.
This ongoing campaign reaffirms the Legislature’s commitment to creating meaningful and lasting change in the lives of Free State residents. The drive will continue to roll out across the province, reaching even the most remote areas.

The Deputy Speaker of the Free State Legislature, Hon. N.L. Ndungane, joined learners and staff at Leboneng Special School in Welkom today to commemorate Arbor Day with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony.
The celebration, held in partnership with Sibanye Stillwater and Ecotransformers, focused on raising awareness about environmental conservation and inspiring young people to become stewards of a greener future.
