Tswelopele Local Municipality workers are embarking on a trip to Gqeberha to participate in the SAMWA National Wellness Games.

All registered participants are urged to be at their designated departure points on time to avoid delays and, most importantly, to avoid being left behind.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NON-PARTICIPANTS:
Non-participants are strongly advised not to take chances by joining the trip, as access and participation are strictly for those who are officially registered.

WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION NOTICE

COMMUNITY OF BULTFONTEIN

The community of Bultfontein is hereby notified that there will be a water shortage until Saturday afternoon due to a technical fault at the pump station.

The Municipality’s technical team is attending to the fault and is working to restore the water supply as soon as possible.

Residents are kindly urged to use available water sparingly during this period and to make the necessary arrangements.

The Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding.

TSWELOPELE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY HOSTS BULTFONTEIN MINISTERIAL OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Tswelopele Local Municipality hosted a Department of Social Development-led Ministerial Outreach Programme in Bultfontein, bringing a range of government services closer to the people of Tswelopele.

The programme provided an opportunity for community members to access various government services under one roof, while engaging directly with government departments and service providers on matters affecting their communities.

The Honourable Mayor of Tswelopele Local Municipality, Mme Mantsho Radienyane, welcomed all service providers, stakeholders and community members to the programme.

Various stakeholders were also given an opportunity to make presentations, providing valuable information on the services and support available to residents.

The programme forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between government stakeholders and ensure that communities are informed, supported and able to access essential public services.

MAGNIFICENT WEDNESDAY MAYORAL GAMES

The Office of the Mayor of Tswelopele Local Municipality, Mme Mantsho Radienyane, hosted the Magnificent Wednesday Mayoral Games across both the Hoopstad and Bultfontein Units.

The games bring together schools from across Tswelopele, with participation from both primary and secondary schools, creating a platform for young people to showcase their sporting talent, build teamwork and promote healthy lifestyles.

Through these games, the Office of the Mayor continues to use sport as a powerful tool to develop young talent, promote unity and foster a culture of active and healthy communities.
