📚✨ BOOK TALK | FROM SHELVES TO SOUL ✨📚

What a beautiful and inspiring day at Moses Mabhida Public Library as we celebrated International Literacy Day through our Book Talk, bringing together local authors, aspiring young writers, publishers, book lovers and members of our community.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made this special day possible. Your presence, support, knowledge and passion for books and storytelling contributed to making the event a meaningful and memorable experience.

A special thank you to our incredible authors and speakers for sharing your journeys, experiences and wisdom, and for inspiring the next generation of writers. ✍🏾📖

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our partners and stakeholders, including the National Library of South Africa, Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport – Western Cape Government, Book Joint SA, participating schools, educators, community members and everyone who supported the program.

To our young aspiring writers: keep writing, keep reading, keep learning and keep telling your stories. Your voice matters. ❤️📚

Thank you to everyone who helped us bridge the gap between information, authorship, publishing and the community.

Here’s to creating more opportunities, opening more doors and putting more local stories on our library shelves. 🌟

From Shelves to Soul — where stories find their way home. 📚❤️
