🎀 Know your body. Know the signs.

Women and men are encouraged to do regular breast self-examinations and to seek help immediately if they notice any of the following signs or symptoms:

⚠️ A new lump or mass
⚠️ A painless, hard lump with uneven edges

⚠️ A tender, soft and rounded lump
⚠️ Swelling of all or part of the breast
⚠️ Skin irritation or dimpling
⚠️ Breast pain
⚠️ Ni**le pain or the ni**le turning inward
⚠️ Redness, scaliness or thickening of the ni**le or breast skin
⚠️ A ni**le discharge other than breast milk
⚠️ A lump in the underarm area

If you notice something unusual, don't ignore it.

🌸 Dear Girl Child Health Awareness Event 🌸
What an incredible and inspiring day at Woodstock Library! 💕 Our Dear Girl Child Health Awareness Event, held in partnership with FAMSA and Woodstock SAPS, was a huge success.
Each speaker had the young girls at the edge of their seats, sharing powerful words of motivation, encouragement and empowerment. 🌟 It was wonderful to see the girls engaged, inspired and reminded of their worth and potential.
Health services were also made available to the girls, who were treated like royalty throughout the event. 👑💗 Their wellbeing and happiness were at the heart of the day.
The event was rounded off beautifully with an inspiring video from a well-known content creator, leaving the girls with even more words of encouragement and inspiration to carry with them.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this special event possible:
