Book Launch - Sound Me Out: A lifetime of Music and Memories by Jeanne Zaidel-Rudolph.

Tuesday 17 November 17:00 for 18:00

RSVP: [email protected]

To encounter Sound Me Out: A Lifetime of Music and Memories is to experience the extraordinary journey of a woman who has shaped the soundscape of South Africa.

Jeanne’s story unfolds not only as a chronicle of personal achievement, but also as a reflection of our nation’s cultural evolution - one that spans from the apartheid years to a democracy still finding its harmony.

Jeanne Zaidel-Rudolph arranged the composition of the South African national anthem and wrote its final verse.

For Doron Amitai Libshtein, October 7 is deeply personal. His brother, Ofir Libshtein z”l, a regional leader in Southern Israel was killed while defending his community in Kfar Aza. His nephew, Nitzan was also murdered that day.

Doron has devoted himself to continuing his brother’s legacy, championing leadership, resilience, community and hope.

With grateful thanks to the South African Zionist Federation (Cape Council) for donating these significant books to the Gitlin.
