A NEW BEGINNING FOR MORE THAN 200 FAMILIES IN MERAFONG CITY!
Today marked a significant milestone as the Gauteng Provincial Government handed over more than 200 houses to qualifying beneficiaries at the Elijah Barayi Mega Project in Carletonville, Merafong City.
The handover was led by Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi, accompanied by the MEC for Human Settlements, Tasneem Motara, and the Executive Mayor of Merafong City Local Municipality, Cllr Nozuko Best.
For the beneficiaries, receiving the keys to their new homes represents more than just a house, it is the fulfilment of dreams, renewed hope, dignity and the opportunity to build a better future for their families.
Merafong City Local Municipality welcomes this important milestone in advancing access to adequate housing and improving the lives of our communities.
