Urgent attention

Photo Guild International has been concerned with nature conservation since our inception 13 years ago.

Concern became worry and worry is now almost panic.

Rhino poaching in South Africa has reached a critical state of affairs.

We’ve decided to focus our effort directly on Rhino Poaching.
We further plan to make a documentary film, not on poaching but on institutions that concentrate on preserving the Rhino for future generations and that take care of the orphans of this senseless massacre.

In the photo’s below you will see photo’s of Rhino’s without horns. This is one of the methods used to preserve the species for future generations but leaves the poor animal defenseless and vulnerable.

Please share this post to all your friends to create more awareness of the poaching epidemic in South Africa. Please leave comments!!

Guten Morgen

" Hey du da oben, mach mal hin mit deiner Nuss, ich kann mich nicht länger halten ! " 😂

Ja wenn die Puschel beim Frühstück sind, ist so mancher Platz schon belegt.

Wünsche Euch einen schönen und nicht so verregneten Dienstag. 😉

Malaika, an angel in Swahili, is Masai Mara's most famous cheetah. She is known to be the best mother, raising many cubs over her life. She is also known to teach her cubs to jump on tourist's cars, a habit that guides are trying to break by driving away from her as soon as she gets close to the car. I was fortunate to meet her again this trip, with her 2 remaining cubs (she lost her 3rd cub to a crocodile not long ago...).
Here she is with one of her cubs on top of a termite mound, looking around for an early lunch.
