Under the theme “A Decade of Impact: Sustaining Momentum, Shaping the Future,” the CSOS Board Strategic Planning Session will reflect on the Entity’s achievements and lessons over the past decade and consider the outcomes and proposals arising from the joint EXCO and MANCO strategic planning process. The session will provide strategic direction and Board input on current performance challenges, priority interventions, targets, resource allocation and strategic risks for the 2027/28 planning period. It will ensure alignment with the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, Human Settlements sector priorities and the national development agenda, and ratify a coherent strategic framework to guide the development of the 2027/28 Annual Performance Plan and position CSOS to deliver greater and more sustainable impact in the community schemes sector.

SCAM ALERT: FRAUDULENT IMPERSONATION OF CSOS EMPLOYEE

The CSOS wishes to alert bidders, service providers and members of the public to a scam involving an individual who is falsely presenting herself as a CSOS employee.

The individual identifies herself as “Adv. Seema” and is using the telephone number 064 765 8337 while claiming to work within the CSOS Supply Chain Management (SCM) Unit.

The individual has allegedly contacted a bidder and instructed them to report to the CSOS Reception in Centurion to sign an Appointment Letter and Service Level Agreement (SLA). The individual also reportedly requested an eWallet payment of R3,000.

CSOS wishes to emphasise that this individual is not authorised to represent the organisation in this manner.

Stakeholders are urged to exercise extreme caution when receiving unsolicited communications relating to CSOS procurement processes, appointments, contracts or requests for payment. Do not make any payments or provide personal, financial or other sensitive information without first verifying the request through official CSOS channels.

If you receive any suspicious communication of this nature, please report it to CSOS immediately for verification. Contact us on 0800 000 653.

Please remain vigilant and share this alert to help protect others from falling victim to fraud.
