Closing out the engagement, Seipati Kubheka from the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA) delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing TEDA’s institutional framework as the city's primary economic and investment facilitation arm to Mayor of Nablus, Ms Anan Khalil Abdalrahman Atteereh and her delegation.

This presentation initiated fruitful framework discussions touching on streamlined investor support through single-focal-point services and the InvestSA One-Stop Shop model, the packaging of municipal property assets, identifying strategic trade opportunities to attract capital, and building strategic investment pipelines that contribute directly to Tshwane's economic growth.

The session provided the Palestinian delegates with valuable insights into how an entity like TEDA operates and the positive impact it creates across the capital city, from single-focal-point investor facilitation to sustainable municipal growth.

We look forward to translating these valuable exchanges into practical, institution-to-institution cooperation with Nablus's economic development entities.

Delivering the official opening remarks and welcome address during today's bilateral sessions, Deputy Mayor Cllr Eugene Modise welcomed the Mayor of Nablus, Ms Anan Khalil Abdalrahman Atteereh, and her delegation before leading fruitful discussions on key areas of municipal performance and institutional cooperation.

The strategic dialogue centred on practical knowledge exchange, particularly focusing on technical cooperation in energy and water infrastructure to address pressing utility challenges and foster long-term urban sustainability.

The discussions also explored broader avenues for mutual learning, municipal governance, and strengthening bilateral ties to foster sustainable economic development and long-term city growth.

By sharing both achievements and operational lessons, both cities are laying the groundwork for long-term municipal partnerships.
