With our 3 hiking trails cutting through the nature reserve spotting them is easy.
The 4 dams we have across the reserve also allows ample opportunity to see them at their natural drinking spots.

With our excelent camping facilities you can experience them up close and in nature. The chalets that we have offer a bit more luxurious stay while still escaping the bustle of the city. We also have venues that can host large groups of people and events, such as weddings, birthdays, parties, wedding anniversaries, holiday celebrations and cultural/spiritual events.

With a large population of Impala and many watering holes they are easy to find. You can spot them while taking any one of our 3 hiking trails, or a reserve game drive that will show you the best parts of the reserve.

With 4 dams and plentiful wildlife on the reserve Impala aren't the only animals to spot. We have over 400 bird species for the bird watching enthusiast and an array of mammals ranging from the mighty buffalo to the sly banded mongoose.

At Somabula you can experience the peace of nature in any of our camp sites or beat the weather at one of our chalets. Three lodges gives large groups ample accommodation for functions or events.

Your weekend getaway is only 30 minutes away from Pretoria and one hour from Johannesburg.
