Creativity and dedication were on full display when Northlands Girls' High School Grade 12 learner Dayna Munsamy presented her English oral on The Catcher in the Rye. Instead of using a traditional digital presentation, Dayna hand-drew every slide of her PowerPoint, showcasing both her artistic talent and her deep engagement with the novel. Her unique and visually stunning interpretation captivated both her educator and classmates, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The Northlands Girls' High School U14 Volleyball Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Top Four Finals hosted by Westville Girls' High School.
The team began the day with a commanding 2-0 victory over New Forest High School U14A in the semi-final, securing their place in the championship match.
Awaiting them in the final was Durban Girls' High School U14A, an unbeaten team throughout the season, just like NGHS. What followed was an exhilarating, high-intensity contest, with every point fiercely contested. Demonstrating exceptional determination, teamwork, and passion, the NGHS girls fought for every rally and emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, claiming the title of 2026 League Champions!
A special congratulations to NGHS U14 captain, Lareece, who was deservedly named the league's Most Valuable Player.
Thank you to assistant coach Mr Beyers, Dr Govender, Mr Msomi, and all the parents whose unwavering support and encouragement helped inspire the team throughout the tournament.
Congratulations, NGHS! Your hard work, dedication, and team spirit have made the entire NGHS community proud.
