According to school principal they don't have windows and classes have no electricity yet students are expected to be at school tomorrow.

EFF eThekwini Region PR Cllr Mcineka is doing an oversight visit at Bhekisisa High School I Ntuzuma, ward 43 today.

Cllr Mcineka confirmed that the school is ready to reopen and Matric students have already started taking 2025 classes.

The school is in good condition to accommodate all students and ready to reopen on the 15th of January.

EFF eThekwini Region PR Cllr Ntombifuthi Mkhize and ward 60 fighters are doing an oversight visit in Redcliffe Primary School to check if the school is ready to reopen. We are happy to say that the school is ready and it's also accepting new learners.

The EFF will embark on a Campaign, which will include oversight visits to schools to ensure infrastructure is ready for the return of learners, ensure the delivery of necessary learning materials such as textbooks is on track, ensure that flushing toilets are present and no pit-toilets are used and ensure that all learners are allowed to register and receive their reports from the previous year, regardless of financial status.
