EFFSC WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
The EFFSC bring a fighter who has been deeply rooted in the struggles of students Siyabonga Mlondo, the EFFSC’s candidate for President at UKZN. He stands as a beacon of student leadership, carrying with him a proven track record of dedication, action, and results. His candidacy represents the EFFSC’s unwavering mission to transform student governance and deliver tangible outcomes for all students.
In his very first year at UKZN, Siyabonga was appointed the EFFSC UKZN PMB Organizer (2019/2020), a critical position through which he mobilized and galvanized students around the principles of economic freedom, justice, and equality. His rise within the ranks of student leadership continued as he took on the role of EFFSC UKZN PMB Spokesperson (2021/2022), where he effectively represented the student voice, fighting for the rights and interests of all students, especially the marginalized.
One of Siyabonga’s most notable achievements came when he became the first-ever Chairperson of the PMB SRC (2021/2022), deployed by the EFFSC. His leadership during this time was characterized by tangible results and exceptional service delivery. Under his leadership, the SRC not only succeeded in addressing critical student issues but also secured a second term for the EFFSC in 2022/2023—a clear testament to his effectiveness and the trust students placed in him.
His influence extends beyond student governance, as Siyabonga also served as a Senate member (2021/2022), contributing to crucial academic and administrative decisions at UKZN. In addition, he was an active member of the UKZN Student Parliament in 2022, ensuring that student voices were represented at all levels. As a Schoolboard member of the School of Social Science and Arts, Siyabonga has been at the forefront of advancing academic excellence and addressing challenges faced by students within the faculty.
Currently enrolled in a Master's in Political Science, Siyabonga Mlondo remains deeply committed to the cause of student welfare and academic excellence. He continues to be present on the ground, assisting students in every way possible, embodying the spirit of a true revolutionary leader.
As the EFFSC’s candidate for President at UKZN, Siyabonga Mlondo brings with him years of proven leadership, dedication to service, and a track record of delivering for students. His journey speaks not only to his capabilities but also to his unyielding commitment to the EFFSC's vision of transforming student life and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
The EFFSC stands as the vanguard of the student struggle, bringing leaders with proven track records who have been on the frontlines, fighting for the betterment of all. These leaders bring the love, passion, and commitment needed to ensure that no student is left behind.
Vote EFFSC both local and central.❤💚🖤

♦️ICYMI♦️
A Bissau-Guinean and Cape Verdean agricultural engineer, political organizer, and diplomat, Amílcar Lopes da Costa Cabral teaches us to hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories...
We will never tell lies in the name of protecting the image of the university, we are not captured; therefore we will continue to tell truth as it is.
