Why does God take so long to respond? There are times when you pray for something and you expect him to answer, but he doesn't. Why? I now know that God is a spirit, and unlike us, he does not have a physical body. God lives in his time, not ours, because the time that governs our bodies is the one that humans make, not God's. For this reason, according to Isaiah, "When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. Therefore, let us not jump to the conclusion that God does not hear our prayers; rather, we must acknowledge that his timetable and design differ from ours. Since Jesus advised us not to worry about tomorrow, it is easier for us to not worry about the day that we are even unsure of. He is the one who knows the future from the moment we arrive on this planet; he knows the end. Isaiah 46:10

When we pray, we are granting God permission to come on earth and accomplish anything we want him to do in our lives. Remember, God is a spirit, and we are spirits in a body, so God will require your body in order to bless and heal others. So, even if we don't feel like praying, we must push ourselves so that God might use us, as he did with Jesus Christ, to achieve his mission on earth. We sometimes push away individuals who truly love us, and the trouble is that we don't realize they've given up everything to be with us, and finding people like them these days will be difficult. Don't be unhappy if you think you've done all to show your love to someone and still don't feel appreciated; you've done your part as God told you to do. Don't try to modify your good heart and make them feel the way they make you feel; instead, remember that you don't fight evil with evil, but with love.

1 Peter 3:9

Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing
