Yesterday we hosted the Silence Leadership book launch in honor of our former headmaster, Mr SC Magwaza.

It was a special moment to celebrate his legacy of discipline, wisdom, and quiet strength that shaped so many lives at John Dube and beyond. Thank you to everyone who joined us to reflect, share stories, and carry his leadership principles forward.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Mpondi and Mr Shabane for their invaluable contribution to the writing of Silence Leadership. Special thanks to the Mkhize Rooftop brothers, Nhlakanipho and Hlonipho, for generously sponsoring the entire event. We also thank Mr Thanda Nyide, CEO of Ndabase Printing Solutions, for his kind gesture in printing the first 500 copies in support of this initiative. To all the attendees, thank you for honoring the invitation, your presence was stunning and deeply appreciated. The book is available on request and will be on shelves soon.

School football continues to play a massive role in developing young talent and bringing communities together across KwaMashu and KwaZulu-Natal.

The upcoming SAFA KwaMashu Schools League Finals at Princess Magogo Stadium will showcase the passion, discipline and future stars of South African football as schools battle for glory in the Under-16, Ladies and Senior divisions.

From Dr JL Dube High, Kwesethu High, Inhlakanipho High, Isibonelo High, JG Zuma High School and Inqabakazulu High — these finals are more than just matches, they are a celebration of youth development, opportunity and dreams through sport.

The future of football starts in schools. ⚽🏆
