A new chapter begins. 💙

On Thursday, 15 October, we’re opening the doors to our new Renova Recovery Group.

The group is for anyone whose life has been affected by addiction - whether you’re working towards recovery yourself, supporting a loved one in recovery, or simply trying to better understand what recovery involves.

Our aim is to create a safe and supportive space where people can speak openly, learn from one another, gain practical tools, and find support for the challenges that come with recovery and everyday life.
Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. It takes time, effort, support, and a willingness to keep learning, growing, and making different choices.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to begin, or a place to continue building on the work you’ve already started, you’re welcome here.

Come join us as we begin this new chapter together.

Today, Recovery and Sam's Voice had the privilege of joining the community for an Elder Appreciation Day at Malibongwe Community Intervention in Austerville. 💙💜

The morning was all about celebrating our elders, creating connection and simply enjoying time together — with wellness activities, refreshments, stories, laughter and good company.

We’re grateful to have been part of a day that reminded us of the importance of community, connection and caring for one another. Supporting people isn’t only about what happens in recovery — it’s also about being present in the communities we’re part of.

Thank you to the UKZN 4th Year Nursing Students for putting together such a meaningful day and for allowing us to be part of it. 🙏🏽
