DAC office Conducted a behavior Change session with Thandokuhle Primary School at KwaMashu. The session covered: Bullying, Substance Abuse, HIV prevention and Contraceptives.

The Adolescent girls and boys convers on these topics and shared many interests on Teenage Pregnancy and HIV Preventions. They shared Different terms used locally for Condoms, HIV and Contraceptives.

This was to sensitize and empower them on Behavior challenges.

EThekwini Municipality PLHIV Elective Summit for the District at Durban City Hall Council Chamber. The sector has been one of the active sector of EThekwini within CSF and it has produced leaders who plays a critical role at Provincial and National level. We are about people's lives and people's health.

Grove End Clinic in collaboration with the DAC office, NPA, Childline and other stakeholders had a School Health awareness program. The aim of the program is to raise awareness and educate learners on HIV, Sexual reproductive health, GBV, Bullying, drugs and substance abuse. This program was held at grove end secondary school in Phoenix in the north of EThekwini Municipality

Our office in partnership with ***coFreeGeneration KZN Team had a program of Cancer and dangers To***co products to our youth. Through the program there were 15 Young people who were selected to attend the public Hearing on To***co Control Bill at Pinetown on the 10 November 2024.

The session was conducted by Mayor's Office Health Promoters, AYPs, TBHIV Care SLA, Peer Educators and Counsellors.

Mental health program is crucial especially in learning institutions. Our office supported World Mental Health Day program at Rose Bank College for the students to understand important of one's wellbeing and what to do when you don't feel OK.

We felt this was an important element for students especially towards thier final examination.
