IPSS would like to extend our deepest condolences to the fire fighter's family, colleagues and friends who selflessly risked his life to save others when a car was washed down a river near Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga this morning.
Sadly, the fire fighter and one occupants of the vehicle drowned during the incident.
We would also wish to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the occupants from the vehicle.

Durban building burns in CBD Residents living in the Durban CBD are recounting the shock of witnessing a building fire in Gillespie Street last night. Flames could be seen leaping from Rydal Mount at about 9pm. Nicolene Pillay who lives in an adjacent building says eThekwini firefighters were quick to respond to the blaze.
