SUSPECT WANTED FOR MURDER, ROBBERY AND HIJACKING SHOT DEAD

At around 18:00 last night Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team together with members of Greenwood Park Police Field Unit and Detectives, worked on information received that suspects wanted for several serious violent crimes were in Crow Road, Kenville.

The members proceeded to the location of the suspects. As members approached the location, one of the suspects opened fire on the team. Members returned fire fatally wounding one of the suspects.

The suspects firearm was recovered and taken for ballistic testing.

Fortunately none of the operational team members were injured in the shoot out.

The scene was secured and will be investigated by the authorities.
