A swift response by members led to the successful apprehension of a suspect involved in a vehicle theft.

Information was received from Tracker Connect regarding a stolen vehicle in the Amanzimtoti area, and the details were immediately circulated.

Members of ET Rapid Response TRT, together with Amanzimtoti Crime prevention began searching for the vehicle.

The vehicle was soon located, and upon noticing the responding units, the suspects attempted to flee. A short foot chase ensued, which resulted in one suspect being successfully apprehended.

The stolen vehicle was recovered on scene severely stripped. Upon further investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of car-breaking implements.
