The SASCO Medical School Branch officially launches the Right to Learn Campaign (RTLC). This campaign is a direct response to the persistent barriers that continue to deny students access, dignity, and academic success.

The RTLC exists to ensure that no student is excluded on the basis of financial hardship, accommodation challenges, or systemic neglect. We call on all students to engage with the campaign, raise issues affecting their ability to learn, and stand in collective defence of accessible education.

Details are contained in the posters below. You will find details for comrades ready to assist you on the Helpdesk Poster. We will be issuing more posters to assist throughout the registration period as need arises. Kindly share this on social media platforms to reach prospective Medical School students.

Let us organise, mobilise, and advance the struggle for the right to learn.

Onward without hesitation,
SASCO Medical School Branch

Today, marked the 3rd day of 16 Days of Activism Campaign, and we shine a light on economic abuse, an often hidden but deeply damaging form of violence.

When someone’s financial freedom is taken away, so is their independence and safety. No one should be controlled, limited, or forced into dependence through money.

Today, we stand with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to encouraging financial independence as a path to dignity and protection.

Comrades,

Today marks the 2nd day of 16 days of Activism Campaign, and we reaffirm our commitment to protecting women and children in every space we occupy.

The fight against violence is a shared responsibility, and our silence can never be an option. Let us work together to create safer homes, safer campuses, and safer communities, where dignity and security are the standard for all.

Together, we rise to protect her, protect them, and ultimately protect us.
