After the rain, the bush has come alive again — fresh green grass, new growth and plenty of happy faces making the most of it.

These beautiful zebras certainly seem to be enjoying the change in season. 🦓💚

There’s something very special about seeing the bush come alive after good rain.

🦌 A NEW ARRIVAL AT KULENI

We had an exciting new arrival at Kuleni this week — a handsome kudu bull who joined us on Wednesday. 🌿🦌

Before settling into his new surroundings, he was carefully assessed and measured — and those impressive horns certainly caught our attention!

We’re looking forward to seeing him exploring his new home and, hopefully, catching glimpses of him out in the bush.

Welcome to Kuleni, handsome boy. ❤️

Our neighbour is a frequent visitor of the nearby Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, and this week she was incredibly lucky with several sightings of one of the lion prides in the park.

While she was watching them, the lions suddenly got a big fright when a herd of elephants was not too happy about crossing paths with them. A real bushveld moment! 🦁🐘
