ANC Thembelihle Subregion Rallies Goutrou Ahead of November 4 Local Government Elections
​As part of the African National Congress’s (ANC) campaign ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections on November 4, 2026, the ANC Thembelihle Subregion demonstrated its grassroots strength and commitment to community engagement during a successful block meeting in Goutrou.

​The gathering brought together loyal ANC supporters, local residents, and members of opposition political parties who surprisingly attended to participate in the proceedings. Demonstrating political maturity and an inclusive vision, ANC leadership warmly welcomed the cross-party attendees, thanking them for their presence and emphasizing that the movement’s doors remain open—reminding everyone that it is never too late to join or rejoin the ANC.

​With campaign momentum building, councillor candidates were formally reintroduced to the community, reaffirming their commitment to service delivery and accountable leadership. Additionally, members of the Branch Election Team (BET) were present to assist residents with Special Votes registration, ensuring that every eligible community member is prepared and empowered to make their voice heard at the polls.

​Gathering in Hopetown under the Pixley Ka Seme Region banner, party leaders, volunteers, and local community members met to support the newly nominated representatives. The candidate presentation highlighted a blend of energetic youth and experienced community leaders selected to represent the ANC across the municipality's wards.
